Consistency beats intensity
When you are learning to drive, it is natural to want to do it as quickly as possible. So you focus, concentrate intensely, and practice. However, is the intensity you bring, whilst a good thing, the most important thing. Consider it this way. If you throw a bucket of water onto a rock, it doesn't do anything. It's too intense. But, if let a drop of water fall consistently onto a rock every day over time it creates a hole. Consistency beats intensity. This is what matters.
